Toss doesn’t matter: Aaron Finch

Citing the IPL final, where CSK won the game by putting a big score, the Aussie captain believes that toss will not matter and that if the 1st innings total is good, it can really make the chase difficult for the opposition. This World Cup has seen many successful chases and the team winning the toss has mostly opted for the chase.

Finch disclosed that he was hoping to lose the toss against Pakistan so that the opposition sends them to bat first. The Aussie captain said that while the team was written off, reaching the finals wasn’t unexpected.
