We have seen batsmen staying at their crease despite knowing that they have nicked the ball but the semi-final of Australia and Pakistan witnessed an unusual incident. David Warner was batting on 49 and tried to play a cut shot of Shadab Khan.
The keeper and bowler went ecstatic knowing they have got a huge wicket of Warner. Warner too walked after seeing the Umpire raised his finger and it seemed that Warner knew he had nicked the ball, which is why the batsman didn’t opted for the DRS.
It was moments later, that the whole stadium came to know about the shock. The UltraEdge didn’t show any sign of audio and the visuals confirmed that there was a huge gap between the bat and ball.
Warner hit a six of double bouncer
Very rarely you will see a bowler bowling a double bouncer ball. That’s what Mohammad Hafeez did. The ball didn’t landed as expected and warner seeing the opportunity, sent the ball into the stands.
