Right of BCCI to choose same ODI skipper as that of T20 also : Saeed Ajmal

No cricket country in the world currently has a different leader for ODI and T20. England is the exception where Joe Root manages the ODI team and Eoin Morgan handles the T20 team. Considering the decision taken by the BCCI as right, Ajmal said, “Bharat board ne jo failsa liya hai, vo sahi liya hai. Unhone kaha hai ki agar T20 ka kaptaan agar Rohit Sharma ko banaya hai toh isko ODI ka bhi bana dete hain. Virat Kohli ko test ka banate hain. (The decision taken by the Indian Cricket board is right. They have appointed Rohit Sharma as the ODI skipper because he was their T20 captain and Virat Kohli to be the Test captain.)”

Pakistan should not travel to other cricketing nations who refuses to come to Pakistan : Saeed Ajmal

Sajeed Ajmal commented that Pakistan has come up in international cricket after a lot of hard work and performance and therefore, they need to have a ‘give and take’ relation with other cricketing nations. “If the other countries refuse to come to Pakistan, then Pakistan should not tour them also”. Ajmal said.

The country has slowly started to witness the arrival of International teams in Pakistan. The West Indies team was slated to play the T20s and ODIs but the tour was marred by the Covid cases in the West Indian camp and now the ODIs will be conducted in the first or second week of June. Pakistan clinched the T20 series with 3 -0.
