India complained about Fatigue only after the loss to Pak and NZ: Inzamam Ul Haq

Indian team early exit has shocked not only the fans but also the former cricket players and analysts as the team was the no.1 contender to win the WC according to many. India lost their first two games against Pakistan and New Zealand. While they regained their usual form in the last three matches, Aghanistan’s defeat against New Zealand ensured that India would not participate further in the T20 world cup.

Ravi Shastri with interviews with different news channels opined that the bio-bubble and non-stop cricket took a toll on their player’s minds and bodies. He was also of the view that the scheduling of India’s second match against New Zealand should have been better, criticizing the seven off days that India had after the game against Pakistan.

Pakistani former captain Inzamam Ul Haq while talking to a Pakistan news channel voiced his opinions about the Indian Team’s early exit from the World Cup. He echoed Shastri’s sentiments that India was unable to switch on the spark and X-factor as they were mentally fatigued coming into the WC.

Even If Virat and Shastri didn’t want IPL before WC, BCCI would still have conducted it: Inzamam

According to Inzamam, India was considering playing in Dubai as a plus point which is why they didn’t consider the fatigue factor. The former selector also pointed that BCCI should have considered the fatigue factor before. Inzamam also said that such remarks from the Indian camp came only after their loss to Pakistan and New Zealand and not before. Citing his tenure, he told how he ensured rest for 9 players against Australia matches in Dubai in 2019 when the team was playing constant cricket.
