Faf has been a team man: CSK CEO
Faf Du Plessis has had a phenomenal run for the CSK franchise, amassing 633, 449, and 396 runs in the last three seasons at a strike rate of 138.20, 140.75, and 123.36 respectively.
CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan released a video where he said the franchise is looking to get most of them back in the coming auctions. In his own words, “We look forward to getting them back. For example, Faf has been a team man who has taken us to the finals of two important seasons. It will be our endeavor to go and try for him. But it’s not in our hands“
The CSK CEO also pointed that Thala has delivered performances for the team and has been the one to get the best out of the players. There will be stiff competition for the franchises to get their core players back from mega-auction. With the addition of two new IPL teams, the leading players can expect to fetch higher bids that what their respective franchises were willing to offer them.
