Virat Kohli : Wasim Jaffer hilarious troll on VK coming back for Ind-NZ 2nd Test

The second test match of India and NZ will start from the 3rd of December at Wankhede Stadium. Fans are awaiting the comeback of Virat Kohli as the captain, however, the team is in dilemma to drop which player for making the way for Virat Kohli. There are likely three candidates who will make the exit. Chesteshwar Pujara, Mayank Agarwal, and the stand-in captain Ajinkjya Rahane.

Now, Wasim Jaffer, former Punjab Kings assistant coach tweeted a hilarious meme from the movie ‘Hera Pheri’ depicting the tough decision that the management has to take in order to include Kohli in the playing eleven. The former Indian opener had previously said that Ajinkya Rahane or Mayank Agarwal are the likely candidates.

“It’s a toss-up between Mayank Agarwal and Ajinkya Rahane. I would think about those two. That’s the toss-up that Virat Kohli has to make. Whether he wants to go with Mayank Agarwal and give him another go or whether (he thinks) Ajinkya Rahane hasn’t got enough runs in the last 10-12 Test matches after that Melbourne Test” Jaffer spoke to Cricinfo website.

Ajinkya rahane has been facing criticism by all corners owing to his sub-par performance in the last 2 years. Rahane was instrumental in leading the Indian Test side to a famous victory in Australia this year with a depleted Indian side without Virat Kohli but other than that, the batsman did not had a great outing in the test matches.

The Indian Coach has said that he is not worried about Rahane’s form and that he is a quality player who has done well for India. Had Shreyas Iyer not performed well in the first place, he would have been the easy player to be replaced by Virat Kohli, however, the former Delhi capitals captain made a century and a half-century in his debut match against a quality side on a difficult pitch.

Will Wriddhiman Saha play?

Saha was unable to do wicket keeping on the final day as he had a stiff neck. The team management will now look to KS Bharat to do the wicket-keeping if Saha is unable to prove his fitness. Rishabh Pant has been rested by the team management for NZ test series.
